The Common Good is the member journal of Protestants for the Common Good (PCG). The Common Good is published bimonthly and is intended to provide critical reflection on matters of faith and public issues. Recent issues of The Common Good are available in PDF format.

Submission Guidelines

Feature articles, reflections, and editorials that explore the relationship of faith to politics or particular public policies are welcome. Protestants for the Common Good works to encourage debate on matters of public concern from a religious perspective. Therefore, diverse opinions will be entertained in selecting manuscripts for publication. Feature articles should not exceed 3,000 words. Editorials and reflections should not exceed 1,500 words. All submissions should be mailed to The Common Good, Protestants for the Common Good, 200 N. Michigan Ave., Ste. 502, Chicago, IL 60601. Manuscripts will not be returned unless accompanied by a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

Book Reviews

Book reviews are solicited by the editor. If you are interested in serving as a reviewer for this publication, please send a cover letter stating your area of interest and a resume outlining your qualifications as a reviewer to The Common Good, Protestants for the Common Good, 200 N. Michigan Ave., Ste. 502, Chicago, IL 60601.
