The God of mercy and compassion, disclosed in the healing ministry of Jesus, invites us to be agents and advocates of health and health care for all.

Protestants for the Common Good works, through education and advocacy, to enact public policies that assure quality and comprehensive health care is accessible and affordable to all people, as well as to achieve financial, administrative, and regulatory efficiencies so resources will be directed to patient care and health services will be provided justly and with compassion.

Agenda Item: Faith and Criminal Justice

Jesus, himself the victim of criminal injustice, calls his followers to join in liberating those who are imprisoned.

Protestants for the Common Good works, through education and advocacy, to reform injustices in the police, judicial, and penal systems, to reestablish rehabilitative resources and services in jails and prisons, and to remove legal and employment barriers for ex-offenders so they may become productive contributors to the common good.
